Our client who provides products and services to worldwide governments, financial and trade organisations are searching for a Digital Print Scientist who has good knowledge of digital print and print quality.

This person will use their skills to take on accountability within the print and digital security team and undertake in developing techniques, concepts and solutions to a high standard.

This role will be about adapting existing technologies to push their boundaries to make sure the security solutions are ahead of the counterfeiter.

The chosen candidate will be part of a larger materials team of like minded driven people all focusing on developing products. Travel might be included in this role

Key Experiences

  • Strong clear knowledge of print / image quality within digital print (registration, integration, print techniques, impact of screening)
  • Ability to analyse print results and then obtain outcomes based on your digital print knowledge to analytically predict trends – write internal reports on the findings and suggest ways to combat the results.
  • At least three years working experience in the development and formulation of novel materials.
  • Hands on working experience with digital ink and toner presses within a laboratory and production scale.
  • BSc in a relevant scientific subject
  • Travel as and when required.
