We are currently working with an established organisation that works with central Banks and Governments across the globe, providing critical products for today’s economy. Due to recent growth, they are currently seeking an experienced PMO Planner to join their team on a permanent basis in Basingstoke. You will support multiple programmes and projects and will liaise with the delivery team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work as part of the team that will be tasked with implementation of the programme of a specified solution
  • Ensuring work-plan management and control using MS Project 2013
  • Setup and administration of MS Project Server systems
  • Track key deliverables against the project plan, including critical path analysis and milestone tracking
  • Report on progresses and metrics against the project schedule in a timely manner
  • Liaise with key stakeholders and third parties
  • Support the maintenance of programme-level RAIDs
  • Provide guidance and mentoring on project planning
  • Support the continuous improvement of the planning function
  • Providing assistance to the programme manager and project managers
  • Implementing PMO planning policies and procedures
  • Support the provision of resource management

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrable skills in creating and maintaining project and programme plans, including RAIDs
  • In depth knowledge of planning methodologies
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively at all levels
  • Advanced knowledge of using Microsoft Project 2013
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Excellent written/spoken communication skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Experience of the setup, maintenance and administration of Microsoft Project Server
  • A recognised PMO qualification desirable
  • PRINCE2 experience working
  • Proven PMO experience within large or complex programmes
  • Experience of influencing, managing and aligning stakeholder expectations
